The US Ministry of Labor (DOL) announced changes to the civil penalty of the professional and health administration that are based on inflation for 2025.

According to the law, agencies must publish “Catching up“Rules that adapt the level of the monetary citizens' penalty and later make annual adjustments to inflation as one of January 15 of each year.

On January 15, 2025, the maximum OSHA penalties for serious and Dinian injuries rose from USD $ 16,550 per violation. The maximum punishment for intentional or repeated violations increases from $ 161,323 to $ 165,514 per violation.
