The Department of Employee Compensation (DWC) granted an order of December 27, 2024, in which the Patology and Clinical Laboratory section of the official medical fee (OMFS) was adapted. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) then published a revised clinic laboratory fee file file.
DWC has published an order with the Medicare calendar year 2025 Q1 Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Fee Plated Schedule File 08.08.2025 instead of the original file for services on or after January 1, 2025. The new file revises the nationwide price fee for the nationwide price code CPT 0340U from 02919.60 to 03920.00. The new file also adds Codes CPT 0521U – CPT 0530U, but no nationwide inexpensive fee for these codes has been provided, since CMS lists it as a locally.
The administrative director's decision of December 27, 2024 remains for services that were provided on or after January 1, 2025, except as by ordering the administrative director of February 6, 2025, in which the CMS Clinical Laboratory File on January 8, 2025 It is updated instead of the original file.
