Other pupils believe that trade schools offer at least as much value as College and a PNW professor that the students may lack important opportunities.
“The business is drilled into young adults by certain areas of podcasts and social media and crept into young adults,” said Afshin Zahraee, professor of construction technology and management technology. “For some people, entering works directly into the trades based on what they want to do.”
A study recently studied by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation showed that pupils and pupils who have not enrolled for college have perceived the growing value in non-degree programs, including licenses, certificates and commercial school.
While 81% of the students told the researchers that the main reason for the occupation of a college gymnastics was a better work, 69% said that a trade or a vocational school could do the same.
Zahraee believes that many students – even those who think of a career in retail – can benefit from a university education.
“We had older students who were already working on site and ultimately decided to pursue education,” he said. “They often compete because they have worked for years and could not advance their career due to educational requirements. …
“These students tend to do very well,” said Zahraee. “You usually see the critical meaning of making this conclusion so that you do not take your training for granted.”
The construction industry's demand is so high for PNW students that many jobs have drawn up before they graduated.
“A lot of what we train and teach can lead to better performances for jobs and open a lot of doors,” said Zahraee. “In the past three years, students who have completed our program have had 100% job placement.
“I had a few employers in the past two weeks looking for students to work for them,” he said. “Many of our seniors are already set with jobs after graduation. I had to tell the employers that I could set them up with some juniors or students in the second year for an internship that could possibly be full -time after graduation. The demand is very high and there is a big reputation of our students out there. “
Zahraee said Industry.
“We are in a position in which we have a variety of technology that we can use to better create and monitor things. I try to convey all my lessons adaptation, ”he said. “This is the technology that we use in class. Knowledge of the use and use of use and application is a game changer in the field.
“Things like BIM and the development of information modeling are something that is on the advance,” said Zahraee. “That shows you where everything should go. We recorded such software in class. “
Adaptation to technological progress has better students who enter the workforce.
“Our students are much better equipped and prepared directly from the goal, ”he said. “We also used technologies such as drones and AI-controlled project management tools so that our students are ahead of the curve.
“You not only learn the skills, they are also positioned to adapt to new technological progress,” said Zahraee.
Conclusion: Zahraee is of the opinion that the workers of BBLUE wars are in great demand, but the right university degree can make a huge difference for lifelong success.
“We are lucky today because there has been a big bi party cross-party urge to fix the infrastructure here. It has opened a large number of jobs and opportunities in the coming years, ”he said. “We have incredibly happy in our field to have so many opportunities.”
