Sustainable design, also called Eco-Design or Green Design, goes far beyond the use of recycled or environmentally friendly materials in a building. The goals include companies to help companies discover, propose and fulfill long -term, environmentally conscious design decisions that reduce the effects of a building in building and throughout the life cycle.
Today, companies recognize that sustainable construction design is a challenge and an opportunity to lead. When companies move in the direction of environmentalists, they set standards in their areas that increase the competition and the interest of potential customers.
However, the design for sustainability is not limited to early phases of the process. Sustainable design should be installed in the structure of a project, from planning to maintenance to possible deconstruction. Industry leaders are pushing with environmentally conscious designs, products and builds because they are good at the moment because they have fewer effects on resources and the immediate surroundings and because they are good for the future because they move the US and other countries of the Paris Agreement and other climate coitiatives.
The built environment is responsible for 40% of global energy consumption. Reducing energy consumption in the construction and operation of building can make a large contribution to net zero goals. Sustainable construction design has many considerations, and companies that choose will last so long – and possibly longer than the building itself.
