Amanda Wood Laihow is the reigning administrator of Osha

Washington – Amanda Wood Laihow is, according to the revised organizational map of the agency, the new Schauzalleiter of Osha.

The Osha updated the diagram on March 12th, one day after Lori Chavez deremer was sworn in as a labour Secretary. Laihow has been the deputy deputy secretary of the Osha since February.

Laihow competes as deputy deputy secretary. She will monitor the following directors:

From January 2020 to April 2023, Laihow was commissioner for the Commission for Safety and Health Checking Occupational Safety. However, the Senate never agreed on its confirmation.

Laihow previously worked as the main consultant of the former Oshhrc chairman James Sullivan and the director of labor and labor policy at the National Association of Manufacturers. She was also a deputy General Counsel and director of government matters of the Committee of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.

President Donald Trump held the former UPS and Amazon Safety manager David Keeling to head Osha. Keeling is appointed in the Senate Committee, Education, Labor and Pension Committee.
