Carbon, a company that develops 3D printing for digital dentistry, has presented an expansion of the AO -Suite (Automatic Operation), in which new improvements are introduced, with which laboratories are to be improved efficiency and scaling of production. The AO Suite includes the automatic print preparation (app), AO polishing cassettes for all printers of the M series, the AO backpack and the new call basket of part-time accessories for the AO backpack, with the laboratories with which printed parts can be called up on your schedule without disturbing the ongoing prints.

The part of the parties is designed for laboratories that carry out the AO backpack during the staff layers and offer flexibility for access to completed prints without a break. Since the start last year, the AO backpack has already processed over 18,000 prints.

Automatic print preparation (app) optimizes the workflow before printing by automating the most important pre -processing steps such as orientation, support and labeling. While the app complements the AO backpack by further reducing manual intervention, it can also be used independently of one another to optimize the preparation for printing, keep the pressure on the pressure.

Carbon has also introduced the AO polishing cassette to the European laboratory market. This solution is optimized for dentures and rails and is now compatible with the M3 and M3 -Max printers. The AO polishing cassette uses the advanced light scattering technology to polish and generate smoother and clearer prints while printing, whereby manual work is reduced and complicated design details are preserved. Validated for leading materials such as the Lucitone digital printing and keystone keyspilt soft clear from dentsply and improves the production of tooth base and rails. The AO polishing cassette is now available for the M2, M3 and M3 Max printing platforms.

Carbon has also introduced Lucentra, a groundbreaking solution with which orthodontic laboratories and Aligner manufacturers are supposed to create clearer thermoformed aligners. This free product pile includes finely coordinated software, a new cassette for the carbon L1 printer and a material of the next generation, UMA 20. Lucentra is constructed in such a way that they are reduced visible layer lines in thermoformed clear aligners by delivering smoothed models. In addition, UMA 20 was specially developed for the production of hollow models and has an extended durability compared to previously used aligner model materials.

“Our urge for innovation in this room is based on listening to tooth laboratories and understanding the challenges that you face every day – be it the pressure to optimize efficiency, or to better serve your patient to serve and improve the results. By promoting automation with our AO suite, we enable the laboratories to concentrate their time and expertise on the highest values that increase their operations and have the greatest influence on patient care, ”said Terri Capriolo, Senior Vice President of Ordinance at Carbon.
