Free OSHA 10-hour construction safety training offered in Syracus

Syracuse, NY-LOKALE construction workers and job seekers have the opportunity to improve their security knowledge at the workplace by a free 10-hour construction safety course from Osha, which is sponsored by Syracuse Builders Exchange and Syracuse Housing Authority.

This two-day training aims to help workers recognize and address common security and health risks in the construction industry. The course is particularly available to employees of Section 3 in the Onondaga district and offers important security skills for people who work in the construction work or strive for employment.

The 10-hour construction security course from Osha takes place in the Community Room Tomey Abbott Towers in the 1207 Almond Street, Syracuse, NY 13210.

Training data:

  • Session No. 1: 2. To April 3, 2025 | 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Session No. 2: 13. To 14 May, 2025 | 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Further information:

  • Free for all participants
  • Lunch provided on the first day
  • The participation on both days of a session required to obtain an OSHA closing card
  • Osha cards are sent directly to the participants after completing the course
