Oluwaseun Faleye, Managing Director of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust (NSITF), has campaigned for the promotion of a consistent security culture, which emphasizes the need for higher consciousness and compliance with safety regulations.

Faleye campaigned for continuous training as a panacea for a safer and healthy work environment in the country.

He explained this when he received a delegation from the occupational safety and health association of Nigeria (Osha) in the Cooperation -headquarters of the NSITF in Abuja.

In a statement by deputy general manager corporate affairs in Abuja on Sunday, Faleye said: “When promoting a security culture and the protection of employees, in particular by employee compensation systems, the cooperation between the interest representatives is considered essential for the development of training programs and the establishment of employment relationships for jobs as security standards.”

He commented on improving health and security initiatives in Nigeria and encouraged joint efforts to improve the training and the exchange of knowledge.

He said the overall goal was to create a safer work environment and to ensure the well -being of the workforce.

In the planned cooperation, the NSITF boss expressed luck and said: “We appreciate your visit. And we thank you that you have found time to come to NSITF. This is a privilege and an important cooperation in relation to the security of professional security, health initiatives in the country and also our areas of possible cooperation. ”

He added: “In fact, I am very, very happy to hear from all your efforts, to deepen awareness of health and security awareness in all of Nigeria in terms of her nationwide penetration. I am also very happy about your efforts, in particular your legislative efforts, which will help to deepen the scope of the country's safety and health in the country.

“As you know, it will domesticate some of these important SHSC actions through legislation. I believe that we can only deepen the culture of health and security in Nigeria with legislation, the advocacy and awareness that the association organizes the association and other important stakeholders. “

The association's national coordinator, captain Uwalaka Godbest, said that the association was in the NSITF to discuss the efforts of Osha in Nigeria to promote health and security in various organizations.

He emphasized the success of the association in the establishment of health and security protocols, including the introduction of OSHA desk officials in ministries to ensure compliance and training.

He said that the association wanted to work with other organizations to improve training programs and to improve the security culture in the workplace.

According to him, the focus of cooperation for further training initiatives has underlined the importance of health and security in view of the latest incidents in Nigeria.
