“In regular concrete production, you need to know how much of each raw material to add and it is challenging to know how much to add as the raw materials depend on external factors,” explains Nadav Politi, co-founder and co-founder CEO at Conext Global. “So without technology like Conex you have to take many more safety factors into account and you don’t know what the exact quality will be today.”
Conex helps provide real-time monitoring to help users produce accurate concrete loads to help reduce global emissions. According to the duo, cement is responsible for more than 8% of global CO2 emissions – by helping concrete factories use cement more precisely, they can also add alternative materials.
“We understand that this is a very interesting topic as it is not only economic and financial in nature, but also has a direct impact on the environment,” added co-founder and co-CEO Shavit Or. “While we can make this industry much more accurate, we can really help them reduce cement consumption… And as we do that, we not only help them be much more efficient, but we help them be much more environmentally friendly. ”
