Wilkes-Barre contractor condemned with a fine of $ 467,000 for Osha violations of Times-Tribune

A Wilkes-Barre-roofer is exposed to $ 467,000 after it has been described as “serious violations” by the professional and health administration.

The Wilkes-Bar Roofing Commissioner Luis Alberto-Reyna Avila and his business, 3 Guys Home Improvement Inc., are faced with the proposed fine, after they have supposedly exposed workers in the workplace at a job for Lackawanna County.

According to the US Ministry of Labor, the business received a “immediate danger complaint” in September, in which the employees were exposed to falling risks.

According to Osha, the company was cited for two intentional violations due to a lack of fall protection and failure to ensure the use of personal protective equipment.

The contractor also had 10 serious violations of improper labeling on combustible containers, according to Osha, almost energetic circuits and improper use of ladders worked.

The agency says that the company has a violation in the past that is so outrageous that it has now been included in the serious program for enforcing violations of the OSHA.

Alberto-Reyna Avila has 15 days after receiving the quotes to comply with the fines, or to contest the results before the independent Commission for the safety of occupational safety and health.
