Carmi-Each Students of the Carmi-White County High School have recently received their OSHA 10 certifications about the Dual Credi Industrial Warting Program of the South Heastern Illinois College in Stanford D. Williams Career and Technical Education Center in Carmi.
The OSHA 10 certification, which was issued by occupational safety and health administration, offers training courses on security and health standards in the workplace. The nationally recognized referential string the students through the understanding of professional security, danger detection and risk prevention.
“These students have worked hard and now have proof of authorization that will benefit you in future jobs and internships,” said Griffin Hart, SIC instructor. “It is a great performance for these students in the first year and I am proud of their commitment to learning important security skills.”
The students who earn their OSHA 10 certification include: Colt Winter, Wyatt Wells, Josyah Perez, Hayden Knight, Nick Neal, Parker Burnett, Gavin Holloman and Grab Mason.
