Cobra Golf has announced the start of the new Limit3D putters today.
In cooperation with HP, the new Limit3D putters have a revolutionary one-piece 3D-printed construction. This design, which is unattainable due to conventional casting or forging methods, eliminates the need for drilled pockets or light solo plates that can affect sound and feeling.
Each Limit3d putter is meticulously printed from 316l stainless steel, whereby complicated grid structures are included to optimize weight distribution and improve performance. The result should offer superior sound and feeling, a higher moment of inertia (MOI) and increased stability in hits outside the center.
“As managers in technology and innovation, we have recognized the potential of the 3D printing for the production of more advanced products. The impressive performance gains of the LIMIT3D iron have made it a simple decision to apply the same technology to putter. We are pleased to present these new models and believe that the players will be impressed by their performance.” – Chad Dehart, Sr. Product Line Manager at Cobra Golf
The new Limit3D putters are subjected to CNC processing during the final process to ensure the precision of premium aesthetics and tour caliber. They have the proprietary descending loft technology of La Golf, the four descending lofts (4 °, 3 °, 2 °, 1 °) to alleviate the dilapidation and adding loft at Impact in order to achieve an optimal start for excellent end-over roll output.
Enzo
The Enzo model is a high Moi mallet that is available in two versions: the Enzo and the Enzo-30.
The Enzo has a one-bend wave with a facial equalization and a ½ wave offset, while the Enzo-30 has a small sloping neck that delivers a 30-degree toy slope and a ¾ shaft offset. Due to its complex high-moi design, the Enzo is produced in cooperation with HP using its Metal Jet 3D printing technology.
rail
The pista model is a conventional blade shape that was created with a DMLS process (direct metal laser sintering) and is available in two versions: pista-45 and pista-60.
The Pista-45 has a plumber's brace with a 45-degree toe and a complete wave offset, while the Pista-60 has a small river neck, a 60-degree toe and a 1/2 stock offset.
Both the Enzo and the Pista models are equipped with KBS CT Tour Putter 120 waves and excessive Zenergy 2.0PT handles by default. Only 500 units of each new Limit3D putter model (599 US dollars) can be bought online and from selected retailers.
