Huron, SD – On Monday, May 5, 2025, the work on the SD Highway 37 will begin north and south via Cain Creek, five miles south of Huron. The repair work of the bridges consists of attachment, concrete overlay and guise updates in the lanes to the north and towards the south on the highway 37. The lane is blocked for traffic control to complete the repair work.

At the end of the repair work on these bridges, the work begins in July 2025 on two additional structures. A structure is a mile south of Huron over Stony Run. The other structure is one and a half miles north of Wolsey on the US Highway 14. Traffic on the Highway 14 bridge is controlled by signals.

The contractor for the 3 million dollar project is BX Civil & Construction, Inc. von Dell Rapids, SD. The overall date of the overall project is October 2025.
