The latest updates support design-to-Build workflows and improve cloud connectivity for greater efficiency.
Allplan has released Allplan 2025-1, a service update with improvements to design-to-Build workflows and cloud connectivity that aims to support more efficient cooperation across disciplines.

Important improvements in all plan 2025-1
Seamless structural data exchange with SAF integration
The Structural Analysis Format (SAF) supports the interoperability in BIM projects by activating direct imports in Bimplus and enables SAF file tracking and management in Excel. It helps to improve the transparency in planning and connect structural analyzes with digital design workflows.
Optimized structural workflows with Frilo von Allplan
The Frilo-Bim Connector is now integrated in Bimplus and supports structure-engineering workflows. Engineers can access 3D model data from all plan, SDS2 and other compatible tools. IFC and SAF files can be imported into Frilo for structural analysis and component drawings. These updates aim to improve coordination and support design accuracy.

Unified 2D and 3D data management with Bimplus and Allplan Exchange
Bimplus and the Allplan Exchange document management system are now connected to project coordination. With this integration, users can synchronize 2D plans, documents and 3D models across projects. The new “Copy from the Exchange” function makes it easier to choose and transfer relevant files directly in Bimplus in order to achieve further processing and cooperation.
Extended cloud functionality and simplified license management
With the new cloud-based license management system, users can access more flexible regardless of the device or location. The real-time license monitoring via the Allplan Connect-Dashboard simplifies the administration and makes it ideal for hybrid teams.
With these recent advances and several minor improvements, Allplan 2025-1 offers a significant increase in productivity and improves digital cooperation in the entire construction industry.
