For long -time observers, the idea of a coherent Atlanta Beltline Trail seemed to be a pipe dream since today's high school was in diapers. But that comes – and soon.
As the latest Beltline construction update Shows that Segment 4 from Westside Trail quickly pours concrete and installs the required infrastructure. It is on the right track to be completed at the end of the second quarter of the second quarter of 2025 at the end of the next month to the executives of the building.
The 1.3 mile segment in question runs north to the south, directly west of Midtown and city center, with a view of sights such as the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (especially in winter) over roofs and tree seesaws.
Part of it Was opened last autumn, but a gap of almost a mile remains, which restricted the off-street trip by a large number of districts of Westside and Southwest Atlanta.

As soon as this missing link will open in the coming weeks, the Westside Trail Washington Park will connect with Bankhead and Historic Westin Heights. It will also create the longest Beltline section – 6.5 miles – in connection with the rest of the Westside trail, which Plug That shoots from the city center and the first segment of the Southside Trail.
This means that you can get a bicycle or a scooter or an electric skateboard to the city center in the city center and, to Pittsburgh yards – and vice versa – on Beltline, which were removed from busy streets.
According to Beltline, the Mainline trail from Segment 4 now has its concrete on the spot, while working on connections to streets are continued in adjacent districts. The landscape design along Segment 4 begins in the cooler autumn months.
