The meeting, which is planned on Thursday at 6 p.m., comprises nine construction contract prices, which range from road improvement to Park renovation work and a large library project.

Control contracts

One of the largest contracts on the agenda include an award of 1.69 million US dollars to Market & Johnson, Inc. for the internal renovation project La Crosse Library. Other important projects are a contract for $ 902,459 to Fowler & Hammer, Inc. for the King Street Greenway Construction Project and a contract for $ 847.682 on A-1 Excavating LLC for the project of the Green Bay Street from 14th Street to East Avenue.

The Council will also consider a Charter Ordinance that creates the position of the city administrator, which will determine the duties and responsibilities of the role and at the same time remove certain obligations from the mayor's office. The measure comes to the full advice without recommendation after a 7-0 vote of the Justice and Administrative Committee to refer it without taking a position.

Level crossing

The Council will also vote on a decision to make the proposed changes to the Wisconsin Ministry of Transport in Liberty Street/St. Cloud Street and Avon Street/Hagar Street.
