Granite said it would not fulfill Radich's role as soon as he goes. Instead, an Operations Executive team founded it in which high-ranking vice presidents of his construction and material departments report directly to President and CEO Kyle Larkin.
Senior Vice Presidents Brian Dowd, Michael Tatusko and Bradley Williams will lead the building on the construction while Bradly Estes will monitor the material business.
The new structure will offer the members of the Executive team more management opportunities and enable them to increase problems directly in Larkin instead of the COO position, said Erin Kuhlman, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer from Grainte, Construction Dive.
The move is the recent change in the company, which has changed from a geographically oriented building contractor and supplier of street materials since the pandemic vertically integrated tree manager/general contractor Concentrate on smaller, more profitable work packages for larger infrastructure projects.
It also concentrated on its material business and converted some of its units and Asphalt plants with automationDuring the use of targeted screw acquisitions to increase the market share at the national level.
The news that Radich goes back comes a year after the company's company Former CFO, Lisa Curtisannounced her own retirement in 2024. She went in September when the current CFO Staci Woolsey came into the position.
In a press release, Larkin praised the company's long service.
“After he joined granite in 1980, and Jim's numerous and meaningful contributions to Granit for decades,” said Larkin.
Radich worked in a number of roles, including the project manager for important difficult projects, main estimates in the vertically integrated business, vice president and regional manager in Northern California and Senior Vice President and California Manager.
As an executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Radich supervised the company's daily operating processes and ensured that people and systems meet appropriate reporting procedures and systems for the company's operating requirements and financial goals, especially during recent restructuring.
“Jim's leadership was decisive when we changed the company in the past four years, and we are all grateful for his granite service,” said Larkin.
