Finances of Connecticut Green Bank 16.6 kW in the historic apartment buildingThe Connecticut Green Bank terminated the completion of a solar installation in 28 High St. Apartments in Hartford, Connecticut, a six-story residential building of CCAM LLC. The property has market and affordable studio, apartments with one and two bedrooms in a building that is listed in the US National Register of Historic Places in the High Street Historic District. The 16.6 kW sun system is expected to deliver more than $ 100,000 in energy costs compared to the estimated useful life of the panels.

The site, built in 1860, was originally operated by James Batterson as New England Granite Company before Batterson founded the Travelers Insurance Company in 1863. The property was recently converted into housing construction by commercial ownership investors Constantinos Constantinou, which secured loans through the Capital Region Development Authority and used state historical tax.
