David Parker, a software engineer and deaf educator at Anto, said: “It is important for deaf
Young people to see successful deaf adults in experienced roles and achieve amazing things. “
“All things are possible for them. We want to promote and support their stem dreams.”
The campers will also visit the OPAL Research Reactor tour and in the Discovery Center.
The camp, organized by Anto and Deaf Youth Australia, is subsidized by a scholarship
National Science Week.
