Pay:

IMC Architecture is a boutique company that is looking for a talented and versatile person to expand our practice and expand our indoor department. Our work includes a floor and renovation of medium to large apartment buildings, commercial and mixed usage projects.

IMC is looking for a candidate for the project architects/interior designers with a strong design sense and at least 5-8 years of experience with specialist knowledge in interior design, the creation of building documents and the modeling of building information. The candidates must be self -motivated, reliable and able to manage all aspects of a project.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all project phases such as; Schematic design, design development, building documents, detailed mill details and shops.
• Documentation: Create and check architectural drawings, building documents and specifications.
• Project coordination: Work with project managers, engineers, contractors and providers.
• Create drawings, boards, fabric schemes and relevant elements for customer presentations.
• Support in preparing technical drawings as well as design and conceptual presentation images.
• Research and source furniture, lighting, fabrics, background images and interior within the project budget and aesthetics.

Candidate qualifications:

• High knowledge of Revit.
• Strong communication and customer interface capabilities.
• Proven project experience, including production and coordination of drawings for all architectural phases.
• Knowledge of building materials, details and methods.
• Understanding of the NYC codes and zoning.
• Relevant NYC experience.
• Experience in the building management phase.
• Motivate and inspire team members throughout the project.
• Bachelor or Master graduation in architecture.
• 5-8 years of professional experience in an architecture firm.

The salary range for this position is $ 75,000 to $ 85,000, subject to adaptation of experience, the candidate's skills and references.
