The Senate examination: laundry list of no-show workers
The investigation into alleged anomalies in flood control projects showed that 8 of the 15 top operators secured contracts worth $ 100 billion ($ 1.75 billion).
These contractors, who were identified by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
The Senate approved lectures for the following NO-show workers in order to force their participation in later hearings.
The absent contractors are:

Alpha & Omega General Contractor & Development Corp.: Linked to Sarah Discaya, a Pasig mayor candidate, quoted a “previous obligation”.

St. Timothy Construction Corp .:: Also in connection with Sarah Discaya and her husband Pacifico, “grief about the death of a foster parents” for owners. Roma Angeline Rimando's absence (this company was referred to in Calumpit, Bulacan, by Marcos as “economic sabotage”.

First -class catalyst Builders Inc .:: Sorry for a “previously planned medical procedure”.

Sunwest Inc .: Linked to Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co, quoted a “planned family -related vacation abroad”.

Hi-Tone Construction & Development Corp.: No specific apology reported, simply didn't take part.

Royal Crown Monarch Construction & Supplies Corp.: No specific apology reported, simply didn't take part.

Wawao Builders: Represented by Mark Allan Arevalo, marked for alleged Ghost projects in Bulacan (5.9 billion ₱ 9 billion ₱ nationwide contracts), did not take part.

LR Tiqui Builders, Inc.: No specific apology reported, simply didn't take part.
The President of the Senate, Francis “Chiz” Escudero, confirmed that the lectures were signed on August 26, 2025. The senators, including Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and Jinggoy Estrada, were frustrated about the no-show. Estrada also questioned Alpha & Omegas connections to the DPWH.
