Werner introduced the Ready Step, a new line of light, compact fiber optic pencils. The head was developed for housing companies, HLK technicians and electricians and aims to improve transport, setup speed and the organization of construction sites. It is available in 4-foot and 5.5-foot models.

The stand-up step is 15% lighter than comparable standard step ladders and has a low 4-inch profile in a closed conclusion, so it is easier to transport and store in work vehicles or in narrow construction sites. Despite the lighter weight, it maintains a 300 pound load capacity and fulfills or exceeds the requirements of the Ansi and Osha.

The most important functions of the Werner Ready step are:
- Extra-large platform: A non-slip surface offers three to five times more standing room than a conventional step-up manager, which reduces the fatigue of the user.
- Integrated tool top: The LOCKTOP Ladder Top is designed in such a way that you keep ten different tools safe, including an impact driver, screwdriver and small parts. It is also compatible with Werner's lock-in accessories system.
- Fast setup: One hand and no-pinch mechanism enables quick opening and closing.
- Improved shelf life: The design includes edge reinforcement for additional rail protection and a longer lifespan.
