Pavewise, a construction technology company focused on the compliance and efficiency of road projects, has raised $2.5 million in seed funding led by C2 Ventures. The investment will fuel the expansion of the company's software platform that integrates production tracking, compliance automation and weather data for road construction companies.
Connectic, Service Provider Capital and industry veterans Geoff Judge and Tom Stemm, former CEO of Ryvit, which was acquired by Trimble, took part in the financing round. Existing investors M25, gener8tor 1889 and Broadwater Capital also participated in the round.
Founded by construction industry veterans, Pavewise Addresses critical vulnerabilities in road construction projects where weather delays, compliance gaps and coordination issues cost contractors millions annually. The platform provides real-time visibility into on-site conditions, helping teams minimize downtime and reduce rework.
“Construction teams lose millions every year due to weather delays, compliance gaps and inefficiencies,” said Bryce Wuori, co-founder and CEO of Pavewise. “We have experienced these challenges firsthand. Pavewise provides contractors with real-time insights for faster, better decisions and better results.”
The software combines several key features that traditionally require multiple systems or manual tracking. Production data flows directly from the field to project managers, while automated compliance capabilities help contractors meet regulatory requirements without additional paperwork. Site-specific weather monitoring allows crews to anticipate and plan for conditions that could impact paving quality or schedule.
The company plans to use the capital primarily for sales and marketing expansion, with a focus on customer acquisition across the road construction sector. Based in North Dakota, Pavewise already serves contractors on projects throughout the United States.
For contractors facing increased regulatory scrutiny and reduced project margins, integrated platforms such as Pavewise represent a shift toward data-driven project management. By consolidating compliance tracking, weather monitoring and production analysis into a single system, the technology aims to reduce administrative burdens while improving project outcomes.
