Long Island, New York (March 8, 2025) – One worker was killed and another injured after a wall collapsed along the Kirkwood Road in Manorhaven.

Long Island officials say that the incident will take place on Monday around 11:43 a.m. Two workers were at the demolition location when the wall collapsed on them.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to help the victims. A 20-year-old man became in the cardiac arrest after the accident and was later declared dead in the hospital.

A 56-year-old man was also taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. An investigation by the OSHA remains.
