The Concordia Board of Aldermen was considered a offer for concrete work in Concordia Park during a special meeting on Monday, March 24th.
The board initially checked the offers for this project on March 17 and initially accepted what they were during the session during the session. However, the city administrator Dale Klussman said that one of the offers was not checked by the board due to a confusion before the meeting.
Aldermen checked this final offer during its special assembly, which was lower than the offer accepted on March 17. The board had to pick up its first application for the lifting to approve the low BID of Stuerkel Brothers Concrete Construction.
Klussman said that work will probably begin in the next few weeks.
The board also checked a presentation by RTI for technology and cyber security support. This is the third presentation that the board of directors had in relation to IT support, and the board plans to coordinate a company during its next meeting in April.
