Anaergia Inc. reported a net loss of 9.49 million CAD ($ 6.89 million) in the second quarter, which improved the net loss of 13.36 million CAD by 29 percent in the previous year.
The integrated provider of integrated solutions from Burlington, Canada, recorded sales of 32.26 million 36.8 percent for the second quarter of 2025 of CAD 23.26 million CAD for the second quarter of 2024.
The capital sales segment made up the majority of sales for the 2nd quarter of 2025 with 23.21 million CAD by 51.8 percent compared to the 2nd quarter of 2024. The capital sales segment offers packaged solutions and services for customers of third -party providers, including technical services, proprietary product sales, technical procurement and construction contracts.
The segment for operating maintenance services generated sales of 5.17 million CAD of 17.6 percent compared to the previous year.
The segment for Build-Offo operates contributed 3.89 million CAD to a total turnover of 0.6 percent compared to the previous year.
North America made up the majority of total sales at 19.82 million CAD by 26 percent compared to the second quarter of 2024. Italy followed 6.29 million CAD, while the rest of the EMEA region brought CAD 3.97 million CAD. APAC recorded CAD 2.18 million income.
“Sales increased mainly due to higher revenue from capital turnover, most clearly in Italy and North America,” said Anaergia in a press release.
The sales deficit rose to CAD to 243.94 million CAD, which were driven by new contracts in Italy and North America. “This growing gap and 43.8 million CAD in new contracts that have been announced since the end of the second quarter improves our visibility and optimism for the future,” said Chief Executive Assiaf Onn.
The gross profit rose to 10.49 million CAD from 4.15 million CAD compared to the previous year with a margin of 32.5 percent. “This is due to higher margins of all three segments,” said the company.
The EBITDA improved 55 percent compared to the previous year to negative CAD 4.77 million CAD of 10.6 million CAD.
The adjusted EBITDA landed for the second quarter 2025 with 2.22 million CAD compared to negative CAD -7.98 million for the 2nd quarter of 2024. “This positive variance reflects a significant improvement in our results from the business activities, which were due to the increase in sales and gross profit,” said Anaergia.
