The Park City Area -Showcase of Homes returns this month with 19 houses in the entire Park City and in the Heber Valley.
The event has become a long-term, annual tradition and offers residents and visitors an inside view of the latest customer-specific buildings in the region.
The event runs over two weekends from August 22nd to August 24th and August 29th to September. 1. hours are on Fridays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and on the working day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The first weekend of the showcase from Friday includes Q and A meetings with which builders and sponsors can share their work and answer questions from the participants.
“This is an opportunity for people to go beyond the houses,” said Cheyenne Mcquiddy, assistant and content manager for Park City Home Builder's Association. “You can ask questions, listen directly from builders and learn how to bring some of these ideas into their own projects.”
The sessions stream live live and give viewers an insight into the inspiration, challenges and hidden details behind every showcase at home.
The event organized by the Park City Home Builders Association is one of the group's signature events. The non-profit organization serves Summit, Wasatch and Duchesne counties and offers training, resources and advocacy for members of the construction industry.
“Our renowned Homes presentation was a remarkable success and threw our extraordinary builders and their business in the spotlight,” said the club in a statement. “Now we are looking forward to expanding this success to our architectural members and the products and shops that you rely on to bring your visionary creations to life. We are here to celebrate and promote the entire ecosystem that enables these architectural masterpieces.”
For the second year, the showcase architecture and design will have its own shop window, which narrows the details of the design compared to the overall construction. The organizers said that this section was about immersing themselves in the future of design.
“Discover Dream Homes, which are brought to life without the limits of the budget and were made on two exclusive loose in leading local developments. From groundbreaking concepts to time -saving and cost -saving innovations, you will see how today's architects shape the life of tomorrow,” they said.
As part of the home tours, brands are presented as a “garage sponsors” in every property in order to interact with the participants and to share more information about what they offer to a custom construction project.
The organizers ask the participants to follow basic guidelines while visiting houses: wear socks or shoe covers, monitor children, do not bring food or drinks to houses and respect furniture and surfaces. Builders can also limit the number of people in a house at the same time.
All houses will be available for both personal and virtual tours with every ticket purchase. Tickets cost 24 US dollars and valid for all showcase data.
