Ceres Greenhouse Solutions is a rapidly growing company based in Boulder, Co. We were in 2009 by Dr. Marc Plinke founded and have a passion for sustainable design in the greenhouse industry. Our products and services include the design of residential projects and garden houses, geothermal systems, educational institutions, small care born and much commercial projects on a large scale.

Position overview

In our team from Boulder, Co, a talented and motivated design person is looking for an internal architect or an architect with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with office days usually every week on Tuesday and Wednesday and additionally as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the creation of building documents, construction systems and project management and experience in terms of small and large -scale construction projects for commercial steel. This role includes the management of design projects, the cooperation with project team members and the successful execution of high-performance greenhouse projects.

Core responsibility

  • Lead -drift house design process from the conceptual phase to building management to ensure that the intention to draft is carried out consistently and properly.

  • Actively communicating and working actively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the design intentions are included in the project requirements.

  • Develop detailed building documents in coordination with regulatory authorities and industry standards.

  • Present customers and stakeholders design and technical solutions.

  • Checking and redline drawings supplied by providers, contractors, customers and internal teams.

  • Execute quality assurance and control measures in all project phases.

  • Research and integrate innovative materials and technologies in designs to improve the efficiency of the greenhouse.

  • Promote and maintain a collaborative professional work relationship with the project team.

  • Maintaining Revit project templates and Revit Family Database.

Secondary tasks

  • Work with our marketing team to create and improve materials with professional renderings.

  • Take part in internal working groups and direct them to innovation and existing product improvement.

  • Take at trade fairs and conferences to record partnerships and find new product options.

  • Take part in the visits and field reviews required by the project.

  • Work with marketing to provide architectural render and 3D designs as required.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in architecture from an accredited program.

  • 3-6 years of professional experience from the architecture company.

  • Experience in working on commercial steel construction projects.

  • Advanced knowledge in Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, civilian, mechanical and electrical drawings, coordinate with several business and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Excellent communication and team skills

  • Comfortable networking with customers, providers and cross -functional teams.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to maintain schedules and budgets.

  • Strong interest in sustainable principles.

  • Ability to produce marketing quality removal.

  • Flexible and imaginative: adaptable project requirements and able to innovate solutions in real time.

Preferred qualifications

  • The AIA/ NCARB license is currently pursuing.

  • Leed Green Associate Accreditation or a similar sustainable design certification (LEEP AP, Well AP, Passive House, etc.).

  • Experience with greenhouse design and construction principles.

  • Familiarity with the principles of structure engineering and the selection of materials for surroundings with high humidity.

  • Strong skills for graphic design and ability to integrate architectural skills into creative design skills.

The total remuneration for this role is 70,000 to 85,000 US dollars a year, which consists of basic wages and bonus and is based on experience.
