Architecture shaped by the geography of Brazil
In the developing landscape of Brazil'S Barra de Tijuca District by Rio de Janeiro, Atto Design by Pininferina provides a characteristic architectural language that is characterized by movement, shape and atmosphere. The project is the first architectural contribution of the Italian design house to the city, which is planned in collaboration with original corporadora. With only twenty ResidencesAtto presents itself more as a processed reaction to the place than a large scaling.
The contours of the building reflect the coastal rhythm of Rio and are reminiscent of the winding lines of Ipanema's Shore and the multi -layered increase in the sugar loaf mountain. Instead of imposing on the country, Atto seems to follow him, and his step profile repeats the surrounding hills. The design does not make up, but listens. It reacts to the natural cadence of the landscape and the changing pace of the city.

Atto Design by Pininfarina lives with the landscape
In the architectural details of Atto Design Die Designer In Pininfarina, the Brazil's design heritage is supported with a deliberate silence. Textures are reminiscent of the mosaics of Copacabanas Promenade, while the layout of the terraces in the layered visual grammar of the gardens of Burle Marx speaks. These references are gently absorbed and folded into a design that is contemporary but is based on cultural memory.
Green is an essential part of the structure, climbing and the cascading of the facade in a choreography of shadows, privacy and oxygen. This vegetated skin softens the lines of the building and aligns them with the tropical environment. The approach reflects the desire to interweave architecture with the climate and place and to encourage every residence to breathe with the forested hills that surround it.
Every residence within Atto is designed with large open volumes and uninterrupted visual lines to the Atlantic. Basics that range between 450 and 1100 square meters prioritize daylight and cross ventilation and enable the movement of the sun and breeze to form the experience. In this way, architecture revolves around containment less than openness.

Space, light and air as materials
Atto Design by Pininfarina rises in Barra de Tijuca, an area that is characterized by broad boulevards, poet vegetation and new urban growth. The district becomes a central point of the architectural ambition in Rio and draws projects that appreciate space and nature alike. In this context, the design stands out for its reluctance and commitment to a softer type of monumental.
Samuele Sordi, Chief Architect Officer at Pininfarina, describes Rio as a city of contrasts in which the tension between nature and urban intensity creates a unique spatial and emotional energy. Atto was developed to reproduce this dynamic – calmly in shape, but expansive in the feeling. The result is an architecture that speaks with intuition as well as logic.
For Origem Incorporadora, the project is an opportunity to align yourself with a design partner whose roots go beyond architecture in innovation. As CEO Henrique Blecher states, it was the intention of never pursuing the signature alone, but rather dealing with a design philosophy that can transform the idea of home into an artistic encounter. The result is a building that is characterized by sensitivity and scale, where the meaning is integrated into the smallest detail.
