State project – roundabout development

[Silk Road / North Bennington Rd / Bennington College / Matteson Rd]

This spring, supply companies will end the relocation of electrical and telecommunications lines before the construction phase of this roundabout.

This requires blocking blocks or restrictions along VT 67A, Silk Road, Matteson Road (Rice Lane) and College Drive with alternating disposable traffic, which are controlled by flagger.

The roundabout contractor then begins with the preparation of the location with additional tree extinguishers and mobilization of large devices and supplies to the project area. This will be several months. The most important construction activities are expected to begin in spring 2025, whereby a forecast completion date of summer 2026 is planned.

All work depends on the weather conditions. Please be careful when entering a construction zone, men and equipment will take place in the travel part of the street.

Memory – winter season is not over yet
