Centerpoint Energy reminds everyone to contact 811 before an outdoor grave project is started. Anyone who plans to dig – including gardening, building or repairing a fence, planting trees, installing a deck, placing a mailbox or laying a terrace – should contact at least three working days (with the exception of weekends and public holidays) before starting its project. 811 is a free service with which community members can be used and marked with usage lines.

According to the Common Ground Alliance, an association of almost 3,800 experts in damage prevention in the underground supply industry, the supply lines are damaged every few minutes, since the ditch occurred before 811.
