The new chemical building from UW-Milwaukee received a Mayor's design award 2025 at the UWM School of Architecture and Urban Planning on May 16.
After six years of construction in autumn 2024, the most modern building of 163,400 square meters opens the role of UWM as a scientific research and educational manager. The building was developed with modern architecture and equipped with advanced laboratories, flexible classrooms and collaborative rooms. He supports both academic and industry innovations.
Since 1997, the mayor's design prize has recognized projects that contribute to the built-up environment of Milwaukee by improving public spaces, expanding educational and employment opportunities, promoting social connections and determining new standards for development and architecture.
