By using CDBG funds for both infrastructure projects, public work can lead to the evaluation or the gas tax fund for other projects, according to the city supply employees.
If the Commissioners refuse the CDBG financing agreement, public work must postpone both projects according to the city administration to find other sources of financing.
Tom Hazen, City Grants Administrator, told The Electric that both projects should always be paid up to a certain point with CDBG funds, but public work and financial departments agreed that the road budget would probably have to bring in if the bids were too high.
In the future, Hazen said that the employees of the city of CDBG financing agreements would conclude on the same commission agenda as the construction contracts for urban projects.
