Neu -Delhi: Prime Minister Rekha Gupta has instructed the Task Force on infrastructure reforms to review and rationalize the high merger costs for commercial actions in the city. The Task Force was asked to automate and simplify existing business -related procedures and to submit a report in which digital reforms with certain schedules are recommended. The Task Force presented a report that contained several essential recommendations for the overall development of the city. The most important suggestions included the single Window clearance system, standardized development control standards for all agencies and time-related permits for large-scale projects.The 10-point report also recommended a reduction in the merger fees for commercial properties, no revised layout plans in MCD areas, an environmentally friendly structure guideline for incentives for sustainable infrastructure development, rationalization of property tax, optimal use of land that was assigned to DMRC, and the reduction of DMRC and other trading systems. The Task Force also suggested that the slum renovation should be funded according to the PPP model (public-private partnership).The Prime Minister said that the Task Force must present a report on facilitating the ease of the business.
