South Jordan, Utah, August 12, 2025 (Globe Newswire) – ECO Materials Technologies Inc. (“Eco -Material” or the “company”), the leading producer, marketer and distributor of additional cement materials (“SCMS”) and producer of Green Cement Products in the USA, published his 2024 sustainability report with the company's environmental and social influences on his business. The report shows considerable progress in reducing the environmental impression of the construction industry through innovation, large-scale flight ash use and the extended use of house materials as sustainable alternatives to traditional cement.
Cement production is responsible for almost 8% of global carbon emissions. Sustainable SCMS of the ÖKO material -including flight ash and proprietary green cement products -annually displace more than 5% of the total US cement consumption, which leads to more than 5.5 million tons of avoided CO₂E emissions in 2024 alone.
Other important highlights from the ECO material 2024 report are:
- 6.2 million tons of fresh flight ash and floor ash from landfills are redirected
- 467,806 tons of harvested legacy ashes that are used useful
- 73,292 tons of green cement produced, which avoids more than 65,000 tons of CO₂
- More than 2 billion gallons of water consumption avoided by using flight ash
- 20% of the fleet replaced by fuel-efficient trucks and lowered the operational emissions
“Our mission is to build a more environmentally friendly world by rethinking what is possible with building materials,” said Grant Quasha, CEO of ECO Materials Technologies. “We prove that domestic flight ash is not only a powerful climate protection solution, but also a resilient and scalable. The infrastructure transformation is already underway, and we are proud to lead it.”
Since the construction industry recognizes the advantages of using alternatives to imported cement and carbon-intensive building materials, ECO Material products offer a domestic, scalable solution. The proprietary cement technologies of the company – POZZOSLAG® and POZZOCEM® – can replace up to 100% of normal portland cement (OPC) in selected applications without affecting compromises and frequently improving performance. These innovations enable a transition to concrete near zero-zero emissions and at the same time reduce water consumption, with more than 2 billion gallons of water consumption in 2024 being avoided by SCM substitution for OPC.
ECO material is operated in more than 125 locations in 42 states and serves more than 5,000 unique customer locations with more than 1,100 employees – 14% are women in the construction industry compared to the national average. The extended logistical footprint and the latest investments in fuel-efficient transport have further reduced the operational emissions. In 2024, the company replaced 20% of its heavy truck fleet with more sustainable alternatives and reported an overall regenerate (Trir) of 0.83, which was below the industry average and has a strong commitment to security and health at work.
The company's SCMS already play a crucial role in top -class infrastructure projects across the country. This includes the expansion of the Gross -Reservoir in Colorado, where Eco -Material delivered 90,000 tons of flight ash for the highest dam with a roller dam in the USA. In California, Eco Materials flight ash in John Madden Football Center was used in Cal Poly, which reduces the CO2 footprint of the new Leed Targeted device. In Texas, the Pozzocem® H-65 Green Cement of the company was successfully used in the plug and task of a historical oil well, which demonstrates new applications for its cement technologies in the energy sector.
With regard to the future, ECO material continues to concentrate on the doubling of its annual volume of recycled material to 20 million tons by 2030. The company's vision corresponds to the sustainable development goals of the United Nations (SDGS), in particular SDG 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure) and SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production). His commitment to emissions transparency and circular resource use positions ECO material as a key partner for the transition to climate-resolution infrastructure and construction practices with lower carbon.

ECO Materials Technologies Inc. (“Eco -Material” or “The Company”) is the leading manufacturer, marketer and sales dealer of sustainable SCM products in Ash. Eco material is also an environmentally focused in the United States near zero carbon cement producer. SCMS are the most effective and environmentally friendly alternative materials for Portland cement that significantly reduce the CO2 footprint and improve the performance and durability of the end product of the cement, concrete. Coal ash and natural puzzolans are used to replace part of the Portland cement in concrete and can further improve the company to higher products with higher performance. Eco -material also supplies services for electrical supply companies in connection with the management of coal ash and other CCPs and uses more than 10 million tons restored materials per year – to maintain natural resources that reduce emissions and avoid the deposit of material.
