Estela Holmes has transformed her career as a construction of apprentice carpenters into the security manager and became a crucial force in safety at the workplace at Pence Contractors.
Since its entry into the organization in December 2019, Holmes has developed a call for collaborative leadership and innovative security solutions.
As a security assistant, she quickly went through the ranks to the security manager. She works with more than 350 employees via Pence Contractors and Pence/Kelly Concrete.
One of her latest achievements is a custom app for an integrated dashboard with an integrated incident report, which enables the team to analyze safety trends more effectively. Holmes is certified as an Associate Safety Professional and works on a complete certified security professional status.
In addition to the technical skills, Holmes is characterized for their interpersonal approach. It carries out site inspections, whereby the focus is on building relationships and avoids severe tactics and at the same time ensures compliance with the OSHA standards.
Holmes is bilingual and enables her to communicate better with trades about job sites. Holmes, a CPR trainer who teaches around 90 employees annually, received the 2022 Pence Values Award. It is also a member of the company for diversity, stocks and inclusion of the company.
Care is the core of Holmes' role as a construction manager. Your goal remains consistent: to bring workers home safely every day.
