It is said that XTool, a large manufacturer of Lasstecher, works on his first 3D printer in collaboration with the 3D manufacturer Snapmaker. These two brands that produced a co-branded printer was certainly not on my bingo card from 2025, although it is apparently the year in which the best 3D printers and professional craft machines impose new areas *cough Bambu laboratory cough *.
XTool is a great actor in digital craft and produces some of the best laser cutters and grava verses on today's market. Snapmaker, on the other hand, is known for its innovative and best-selling craft with 3-in-1-3D printer, which combines pressure, laser engraving and CNC carvings with a modular quick SWAP design.
The leak comes from Reddit, and there is even a photo of this alleged XTool X SnapMaker 3D printer, which, albeit authentically, looks exciting. We can see what a closed machine seems to be in style (although it doesn't look like a core xy construction that seems to be completely rave at the moment), with multicolored compatibility, including four supported coils and a touchscreen LCD in the upper right corner of the printer. Take a look at the picture below in the Reddit thread.
XTool & Snapmaker cook something big in 3D printing … Is that a strike in Bambu? From R/3DPrinting
In view of the recent announcement that Bambu Lab has created a Premium -H2D -3D printer that can also draw, cut and engrave, could this new product from XTool and Snapmaker be a direct retribution? Or maybe the timing is this leaked image of an XTool 3D printer. The Bambu Lab H2D has inspired many creative people, although the model specifically came with the laser criticism and concern about potential mess, maintenance and security associated with the combination of such machines.
Perhaps consumers have a little more confidence in a multifunctional 3D printer if it is created by XTool, which seems to have a pretty good understanding of how laser graves work. As a Redditor pointed out: “If XTool was really involved in the development, this could lead to interesting improvements and a new good machine.”
Another user adds: 'First Bambu enters the laser cut, now XTool & Snapmaker react with a multicolored 3D printer? We will see. 'Perhaps the battle of the craft companies could be in 2025. If you are someone who likes to keep your craft machines separately (and I do not accuse), take a look at our guides for the best Cricut machines and the best XTool machines for digital craft.
