2. Compliance with security at the workplace in cannabis and plans Medicine Industries

Many business owners may not recognize that the professional security and health administration (OSHA) has the supervisory authority via cannaby facilities, including cultivation, processing, manufacturing, laboratories and even retail. As in any other industry, cannabis companies have to comply with the OSHA security standards to protect their employees from dangers for work.

3 .. New Jerseys cannabis regulatory commission updates the test guidelines for updates

The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC) recently announced updates of its test guidelines. It also provided a guide to reading an analysis certificate (COA) (1). The new standards should offer better precision, product safety and transparency. The New Test Directive was approved in February 2025 after research and collaboration with experts in the industry and the supervisory authorities.

4. The study shows that the sale of cannabis in retail can play a role in reduced drinking with young adults

A recently published study in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine Examined whether there was a connection between consumers who used cannabis and alcohol and adult usage laws.

The team viewed representative data from more than 400,000 respondents from a period of over 10 years. The researchers saw “limited effects on the population-wide alcohol and tobacco consumption after legalization” and found a reduced use in young adult demography. Data from the study showed that alcohol consumption in young adults decreased between the ages of 18 and 29. Older adults between the ages of 50 and 59 also showed that the frequency of alcohol consumption decreased. In addition, the use of cigarette also decreased.

5. Study examines the latest and long -term cannabis use in brain function in young adults

A recently published study examined the effect of the latest and lifelong cannabis consumption on brain function. In the summary of the study it was found that more research on the effects of youngest and heavy cannabis on long -term brain function is researched because cannabis consumption increases worldwide. In this area, further examinations are required to better inform public health policy, according to the introduction. The cross -sectional study “The results of the brain function of the latest and lifelong cannabis consumption” was published in Jama Network Open In January 2025.

In this study, data from 1003 US boys adult-26-32 years analyzed. The data used came from the Human Connectome project (HCP). Participants with more than 1000 cannabis user purposes were viewed as users of the service life (8.8%of the participants in this study), moderate users with 10 to 999 uses (17.8%) and non-users if they had fewer than 10 uses (73.4%).
