A record number of competitors for the highest award of the infrastructure industry was reduced to seven in the run -up to the Australian Construction Achievement Award (ACAA).
The ACAA is presented by the Australian Constructors Association and Engineers Australia and not only recognizes excellence for building and engineering, but also how these projects shape a more progressive and sustainable construction industry.
The CEO of the Australian Constructors Association, Jon Davies, said that 2025 is a record number of finalists, which reflects the commitment of the industry to build a better future.
“This year's finalists represent an impressive selection of transport and infrastructure projects that are delivered throughout Australia.
“These projects show more intelligent and sustainable opportunities to carry out projects. From reducing environmental influences to prioritization of the well -being of the workers, the diversity and the development of skills, these contractors are leadership.”
The CEO of Engineers Australia, Romilly Madww, said that the 2025 competitors fell on their ability to integrate engineering into sustainability and community development.
“The ACCA finalists represent the best in Australian engineering and show how cooperation, technology and strategic planning can promote transformation projects that combine and strengthen the communities,” said Ms. Madew.
In its 28th year, this Premier Construction Industry Award is supported by large industry partners such as Caterpillar, CBus, Gallagher, Inight, Infrabuild and Pinsent Masons.
The finalists are honored and the winner announced on August 6, 2025 at a Black-Tie Awards dinner at the Star Hotel in Brisbane in connection with the Foundations and Frontiers Forum (FF25).
