HOK projects won awards in the Commercial Buildings, Hospitals/Medical Centers and Sports and Recreation categories.
For the third year in a row, HOK has won multiple American Architecture Awards organized by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press. The award program is one of the highest professional awards in architecture and design.
HOK's four winning designs are:
1. Energizer Park of St. Louis CITY SC

Energizer Park (formerly known as CITYPARK) is home to the largest urban professional sports campus in the United States, making St. Louis CITY SC the only Major League Soccer club to have all team facilities consolidated at a central downtown location. The stadium stands out among MLS venues for its pedestrian-oriented design and two concourse levels that provide views of the surrounding urban landscape. None of the stadium's 22,500 seats are more than 120 feet from the pitch – a new standard for MLS seating and an immersive experience for every fan.

3. Kaiser Permanente Everett Ambulatory Surgery and Specialty Center Expansion (Everett, Washington)

It embodies Kaiser Permanente's holistic approach to health, where every aspect of wellness contributes to the whole. The architecture expresses this integration through interlocking forms, transparent connections and landscapes that blur the boundaries between building and community. Inspired by the Puget Sound region, textured panels, natural wood and native plants create warmth and connection to nature, while a luminous mountain facade marks the site as a new urban beacon for healing, unity and community in downtown Everett.
