The HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese Audiology in connection with Cochlear Americas will organize a free educational presentation in order to learn more about hearing loss and implantable solutions if hearing aids are not sufficient. It will be Tuesday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Heritage Room in the hospital, 9515 Holy Cross Lane, Breese.
The participants will hear and discuss them available on site, how a hearing make -up of the quality of life will go to those who have hearing disability. Doctors and audiologists will also be available for additional questions.
“Hearing implants are an option to help the patient regain access to solid and their lives if their current solutions may cause frustration or dissatisfaction,” said Abigail Stutz, CCC-A, audiologist at St. Joseph's. “Our team can provide people of all ages with hearing problems here in our community many treatments and comprehensive care plans.”
It is important to note that most of the hearing implants, unlike hearing aids, are usually covered by Medicare, many insurance plans and usually Medicaid*.
