Great Britain from the online learning tool of the Global Group uses part of the future skills in sustainable construction practices
Holcim UK has introduced the online learning tool to its global group, which aims to build experts across Great Britain in sustainable building practices and to build them in the infrastructure professionals throughout the UK.
The Holcim Sustainable Construction Academy offers a variety of CPD-certified courses that were developed in collaboration with the global institutions, including ETH Zurich and the University of Cambridge, as well as leading experts from pioneering companies such as Canary Wharf Group, Arup and Ramboll.
At all levels from beginners to the intermediate level, the 10-module curriculum Holcim customers, suppliers and other market participants are aimed at learning freedom to learn at their own pace, such as: B. operational emissions, circular construction and innovation of the building materials.
While the main goal of the initiative is to accelerate the kidnapping towards renewable buildings in the construction industry, individual participants can gain invaluable insights into sustainable practices that offer them an important competitive advantage over their industry colleagues.
As an employer who is enthusiastic about the development of talents and skills, Holcim also encourages internal team members to deal with the learning tool in order to give them the best knowledge and best know -how in order to make sustainable constructions reality.
Anh nguyen, specification manager at Holcim UK, said about her experiences with the Holcim Sustainable Construction Academy: “I decided to register for the academy because I was curious about what I could learn from it that could be applied to my daily role.
“I am now about half of the program and everything has been great so far. The second module – which covers the life cycle stages of construction projects and products – was particularly useful for me and has been submitted into detailed details in detailed details about some of the specific work I already performed for customers.
“Achieving sustainability is really based on your own knowledge of how sustainable practices actually work. Therefore, it gave me a more precise understanding of better supporting our customers in their projects and decisions about their own sustainability goals.
“I would recommend everyone who is interested in expanding his knowledge of sustainable constructions – whether architects, engineers, contractors, information, colleagues or even people who are interested in work in construction work – to register from the Holcim Academy.”
