After a two-year break, the Holmes family will return to their HGTV show Holmes Family Rescue to help desperate homeowners in need.
The show follows Mike Holmes and his children Mike Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes when they try to help people who are wrong with other cell phone meners and contractors. The show's synopsis explains: “The series shows Mike's personal mission to make it” right “for homeowners who have fallen victim to careless or dishonest contractors.”
HGTV shared the news on Instagram and the people in the comment area expressed excitement for the return.

Mike has been involved in Home Renovation shows since 2001 when he played the leading role in the Canadian show Holmes on Häuser. That was packed in 2009. His most recent show began in December 2021 for two years before taking a break.
“Mike, Michael and Sherry understand how annoying a bad renovation for a family can be,” said Loren Ruch, Senior Vice President of Programing & Development at HGTV, before the second season about the family. “They are convincing experts who want to take care of their customers and want to give them a nice and safe place to live that our viewers will be happy to see.”
In addition to his television programs, Mike also organizes the “Holmes on Homes” podcast, where he discusses everything at home. Season 5 of his podcast started on April 17, what he announced on his Instagram.
