• SH 11, from FM 2655 to SH 24: This project will add shoulders and replace drainage structures. The contractor has erected barricades and is currently widening roadsides and conducting ditch grading in the area. Excavation, flex base and flowable fill work is underway. Work is currently underway on the Middle Sulfur River relief structure. Construction work has begun and continues on the shoulders of the project. Work on intersections and entrances continues
• FM 1563, from SH 50 to SH 2655: This is a 2.7-mile rehabilitation project that will widen the existing roadway. The contractor has installed work zone signs and barricades. The contractor is currently carrying out work on the second mile of the project. The contractor continues to carry out renovation work and expansion of the substructure and places GEOGRID within the project boundaries. In the second mile of the project, cement preparation and culvert pouring has been completed. The placement of the new guard rail has been completed and work on the mowing strip is underway. The access roads are in progress and will be completed in sections.
• FM 2642, from FM 35 to SH 66: Contractor has installed work zone signs and barricades. The contractor is currently carrying out paving and sidewalk work. The developer is planning a detour near Verandah and Baylor Scott and White and is installing a sidewalk and curb for fill in that area. Contractor forms rebar and machined driveway recesses near Peppergrass. The placement of tributaries and driveways is underway. Railroad coordination near FM 2642 and SH 66 is underway and work in this area will begin soon.
• FM 512, from SH 34 to FM 118: The contractor has installed barricades and traffic signs for the work area. The contractor has started repair work on base and subfloor defects. The contractor has started replacing culverts and bridge structures. Cement treatment has been completed on the first mile section of the 9.5 mile project and the contractor has completed wing walls and end walls on three structures. In these sections, finishing work continues on the cement-treated base.
I-30 Interchange Improvements from Monty Stratton to FM 1903: Contractor has installed barricades and advance warning signs. The contractor has begun excavation work at FM 1903 (west side) and is working on placing wire walls at FM 1903 (east side) and soil nail walls at FM 1903. The contractor is also constructing embankment and wire walls east of 1570 and form work for Bent No. 3 Cap at FM 1570. Supports are being constructed at FM 1903 and FM 1570, along with placement of backfill for retaining walls at FM 1570. Pipe/inlet work for FM 1570 drainage is underway.
I-30 Improvements from CR2511 to FM 36: The contractor is currently grading and constructing a causeway between the main and main roads. Contractor poured culvert B headwall and foundation, grading at FM 1565, EB 2511 for temporary wall installation, and erection of barrier on EB and WB main lane from 1565 to end of project boundaries. Installation of the culvert is underway and diversion paving will be installed throughout the project.
• Hunt County maintenance crews will perform pothole and sign repair work throughout the county and prepare sections of roads for possible weather impacts.
