Local construction companies occupy the ESG register to strengthen competitiveness and to secure secure project advertisements

[SINGAPORE] Seven local construction companies have taken ESGPEDIA-A in Singapore-based environmental, social and governance register (ESG)-to strengthen their competitiveness and to secure more projects.

In addition, they achieved better ESG compliance, savings in people's lessons and improved data views in greenhouse gas emissions, said ESGPEDIA in a press release on Tuesday (March 18).

The seven companies are Expance Construction, Hi-Tek Construction, Ngai Chin Construction, TeamBuild Construction Group, Kimly Construction and Singapore Baumbuild Buision Group and wee Hur Construction of Wee Hur Holdings.

The introduction comes in the middle of a growing movement in the industry to get your supply chain to green.

In addition, the government now takes into account the environmental protection criteria when evaluating offers for large projects for construction as well as information technology and communication technology.

ESGPEDIA was introduced in 2022 and is a one-stop platform that offers digital solutions for company requirements. This includes the ESG reporting, carbon accounting, data and analysis, sustainable financing and the commitment of the ability to deliver.

Some of the applications among the seven companies include the creation of carbon reports or their sustainability report to ensure compliance with local and international standards. And in cooperation with ESGPEDIA to start a portal to pursue and monitor the environmental impact of the subcontractors so that you can better manage the emissions of the full value chain.
