Nate has published a new document in which compliance with environmental and regulations for telecommunications companies are presented.Nate provides the contractors with environmental and regulatory instructions

The document is aimed at companies that “may not have resources or knowledge to ensure a complete evaluation and compliance,” said a Nate publication. This includes wireless Internet service providers, smaller tower developers and contractor companies.

The guide is divided into two categories: dangerous materials and contamination and questions of the National Environmental Policy Act.

The first section deals with environmental risks in job offers, including dangerous materials, endangered species and historical locations.

The second section goes into detail in relation to the review of the NEPA compliance before the start of projects. For radio operators, this includes incoming regulations of the FCC, NTIA and state and local laws for new tower buildings, fiber preparations and changes.

The guide also covers the Osha and EPA regulations for lead, asbestos and dangerous waste.
