“The city of New Bedford has street workplaces for the coming week of September 8, 2025 – September 12, 2025, and they are as follows:
Eversource crews will be on these streets to work on main relay and services:
- Main season in Alva St. from the Nemasket St. to Winslow St.
- Main season in the County St. von Grinnell St. to all St.
- Main season in the Logan St. by Acushnet Ave. To buy St.
- Main season in the Penniman St. von Summer St. for the purchase of St.
- Main season in Viall St. from the Ruth St. to Cove St.
- Services in the Church St. from 582 Church St. to Nash Rd.
- Services in the County St. from the Adams St. to Penniman St.
- Services in the Washburn St. from the Acushnet Ave. To the Belleville Ave.
City work:
- The contractor (c naughton corp.) is the main water services in the Edward Street from Field Street to Dartmouth Street, the Field Street from Stowell Street to Babbitt Street, the Fruit Street from Hemlock Street in the Bourne Street, from Hemlock Street, to the Juniper Street. The details of the police will enable on site, so that access is only supported to the residents and the support of traffic management.
- The contractor (WES Construction Corp.) will continue to work at the Shawmut Avenue Pump station between Nash Road and New Bedford Airport. The western trace of Shawmut Avenue is reduced during construction.
- The contractor (PA LANDERS) can regularly work regularly at the Tip Road Reconstruction mass on the Kings Highway between Mt. Pleasant Street and Oliver Street to complete smaller items on the project location.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue to work on the phase -ii buttonwood Brook Water Quality Improvement Project. The work area is located in Buttonwood Park along the Brownell Avenue and the Kemton Street, on the Fuller Memorial Parkway, in the Brownell Avenue and in the Kemton Street.
- The contractor (Flynn Enterprises) will start working on the phase -i project to improve the water quality of the phase -i button park. The work area is located in Buttonwood Park, in the Buttonwood Senior Center, on the Fuller Memorial Parkway and on Lake Street. Temporary closures of the Buttonwood Senior Center parking lot and the Fuller Memorial Parkway are expected during grinding and paving.
- The contractor (PA LANDER) can regularly work on the Massdot Tip Intersection IMPROPEMENT Project of the ACUSHNIE Avenue and the Peckham Road to complete smaller items on the project location. The work area comprises the ACUUSET Avenue from Cherokee Street to Tobey Street.
- Contractor (Pa Landers) will work on the reconstruction project Massdot Tip Road in the County Street from Rivet Street to Nelson Street. The work includes the sidewalk work along the west side of the project area.
- The contractor (PA Landers) will continue the road and sausage work on the West Rodney French Boulevard between the Cove Street and the Woodlawn Street.
- The contractor (PA Landers) will continue the lane and sausage work on the Braley Road between the Acushnue Avenue and the Briarwood Drive.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will start working on the sidewalks of the Mt. Pleasant Street between Kings Highway and Cox Street.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will paint in the Commercial Street by South Water Street by terminus.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue the street reconstruction in Church Street between the Nash Road and the Wood Street.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue the street in the Acushny Avenue from Maddie Drive to the Cherokee Street.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue the street on the Mill Road from the Acushnue Avenue to the Belleville Road Road.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue the street reconstruction in the Elm Street from North Water Street to buy the street.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue from Ashley Boulevard to the Lowell Street in the Florida Street on Florida Street.
- The contractor (Pa Landers) will continue the street in Belleville Avenue from Wood Street to Hamlin Street.
Others work:

The contractor (DW White) continues on the Route 195 Viaductter set project. Road closures and detours in the Penniman Street and in the State Street.
