Efuels are synthetic fuels that are made from waste CO2 and renewable energies and are chemically identical to conventional petroleum-based fuels. These drop-in fuels are used in transport and chemical sectors, whereby they are seamlessly integrated into existing engines, infrastructure and manufacturing processes. Infinium -Fuels offer the possibility of energy versification and use the global infrastructure that provides today's transport and chemical industries. In 2023, Infinium became the world's first, commercial volumes of efuels for customers in the USA and Europe from its production facility. Project PathfinderIn the body of Christ.
Infiniums Project Roadrunner Facility will convert CO2 and renewable energies to generate sustainable aviation fuel and use new assets built for the project for renewable power supply. The fuels produced by the Roader project are sold in Germany in the USA and exported to international markets. As part of a pioneering agreement with the Airline Group IAG, ESAF will be shipped to Great Britain in order to meet the compliance requirements according to the recently issued SAF mandate in Great Britain, which means that at least 10% of all Jet fuel in flights from Great Britain will be obtained from sustainable feed sticks by 2030.
Currently under construction, the system is expected to be commercial operation in 2027 Nextera energy resources through a long -term electricity contract contract.
