Art Anderson, a multidisciplinary engineering office based in Bremerton, has hired three new team members. Caroline Kahwati, David Cardenas And Derek Patterson.
Kahwati joins the company's marine team as Junior Naval Architect. Kahwati will support projects that focus on ship stability, structural analysis and design ability of the ships. Kahwati has a BSE in naval architecture and marine engineering and a minor in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan. She gained experience in engineering at General Dynamics Nasco and as an intern at Newport News Shipbuilding.
Cardenas will work with the company's marine team as a Marine CAD designer. He will create and change CAD models and architectural drawings in Revit, AutoCad and Solidworks for a variety of project types. Cardenas offers nine years of experience in CAD design. Most recently, he worked for Kratos Defense in Arlington, Texas.
Patterson joins the role of the electrical engineer for the architecture and design team. He has a degree in technical physics and electrical engineering from CA State Polytechnic and Biola Universities. Patterson offers experience in aerospace, electronics and hardware design design.
