StockholmPresent June 30, 2025 / Prnewswire/ – Skanska invests CZK 1.6 billion, approximately SEK 700mIn the new single -phase residential project in Prags Radlice District, Czech Republic. The construction contract is approximately 1.0 billion CZK, approximately Sec 460mwhich are included in the order bookings for Europe For the second quarter of 2025.
The Dok Radlice project will contain 177 low -energy apartments in three residential buildings, one of which is the largest wooden residential building in the Czech Republic. The project is built near natural monuments and green parks and creates a quiet courtyard and a playground.
The concept of life with a low effect focuses on energy efficiency, blue-green infrastructure and considerably lower CO2 footprint. According to a preliminary analysis, the use of wood in one of the buildings replaces about half of the required concrete volume and delivers up to a third CO2 load compared to conventional projects. The buildings are striving for a high rating in the International Breeeam Sustainability Certification.
The construction of this project begins at the end of Jun 2025 With the expected completion of 2027.
